Billie Winegard MD, FAAP, MPH

Dr. Billie Winegard is an Arizona native and grew up in southern Arizona. She is a board-certified palliative care physician at Phoenix Children's Hospital and our Perinatal Palliative Care Program lead. She completed her pediatric residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center (now Valleywise Medical Center) and a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Alfred I. Nemours Children’s Hospital/Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware. Before returning home to Arizona, she was the Division Head of Pediatric Palliative Care at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
