Bijan Nejadnik MD is a biotech leader with scientific, clinical, and regulatory expertise with strong business acumen. He has more than three decades of experience in academic centers (including Johns Hopkins, Cornell, and Stanford Universities) and in the pharma and biotech industry (including Johnson & Johnson, and Jazz pharmaceuticals). As Head of Clinical and Regulatory in several companies, he led teams and organizations in developing and marketing multiple biologics and small molecules, with successful BLA/NDA and MAA submissions, FDA and EMA approval, and commercialization.
He mentored a number of professionals currently leaders in academia and industry at active faculty positions at Stanford University school of medicine (current), the University of California, and the State University of New York.
He received his premedical degree Summa Cum Laude and medical degree Magna Cum Laude from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Belgium and trained in internal medicine, and hematology-Oncology at UCL and GI-Hepatology at Johns Hopkins University. He has lived in North America, Europe, and Asia, where he developed an extensive business network. He is fluent in several languages.
