Bhanu Rekepalli

Dr. Rekepalli is computational scientist at Joint Institute for Computational Sciences and Adjunct Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Dept at University of Tennessee . Dr. Rekepalli's research interest include, High Performance Computing (HPC) on supercomputers, cloud architectures, and hybrid architectures, along with robust and highly scalable applications development, bioinformatics and computational Biology. He is currently working developing automated tools on HPC machines to keep up with exponential growth in life sciences data for large scale knowledge discovery to improve human health and bio-fuel generation. Currently working on developing user friendly interfaces to run these automated tools along with data storage, retrieval and analysis from biological databases. Along with developing educational modules for both undergraduate and graduate bioinformatics programs.
