Beverly Smolyansky

Beverly H. Smolyansky, PhD, completed her graduate training in child clinical psychology at the University of Cincinnati. Her internship training was at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. It included training on inpatient psychiatry units for children and adolescents, group therapy training, and college counseling center experience. Dr. Smolyansky's fellowship training is in developmental disorders and was completed at the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Her fellowship focused on therapy and assessment in children with a range of developmental disorders.Dr. Smolyansky has been in practice in Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children's for more than 13 years. As the clinical director for the division, she assists in hiring, training, and supervising 21 staff psychologists, and assists in planning and implementing new programs and quality improvement activities within the division. As a staff clinical psychologist, Dr. Smolyansky's sees patients generally under age 8 for ADHD evaluations, psychological assessments, OCD assessment and treatment, parent training, and general behavioral management issues.
