Beverly L. Gorman RDCS

Beverly Gorman, RDCS is the Director of Accreditation for Echocardiography at the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission. She joined the IAC as Technical Manager in May 2006 and was named Director of Accreditation - Echocardiography in 2011, bringing her extensive clinical expertise in both adult and pediatric echocardiography.

Ms. Gorman began her career in1981 as a medical assistant/cardiac sonographer, training an echo under the supervision of a registered sonographer and a cardiologist. In October 1988, she earned the designation of Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography by the ARDMS. Her many years of experience have been based in settings ranging from private practice to the large hospital. She is an active member of both the American Society of Echocardiography and the Capital Area Echo Society.
