Bettina Toth

Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Bettina Toth studied at the Eberhard-Karls University of Tubingen and earned her doctorate and worked for many years at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, where she also habilitated in 2008. Since 2009, the 45-year-old native of Wuerttemberg has been the senior senior physician for gynecological endocrinology and fertility disorders in Heidelberg. The focus of her research so far has been on increased miscarriage, implantation, disorders of the coagulation system and reproductive immunology.

In addition, she has been involved in professional politics for many years: among other things, as a member of the Guideline Commission of the German Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGGG). The guideline program also includes the Austrian Society for Gynecology and Obstetrics (OEGGG). The vice-president of the German Society for Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine (DGGEF) is a member of numerous other companies, is an expert for international journals and currently also chairwoman of the reproductive medical centers in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
