Bettina Dannewitz DDS

Bettina Dannewitz was born in Weilburg and studied dentistry in Heidelberg, where she also completed her three-year specialization in periodontology (2004). She received her doctorate (2001) and habilitation (2009) from the University of Heidelberg, and an adjunct professorship at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main (since 2018). She is currently the President of the German Society for Periodontology, one of the largest dental societies in Germany. In addition, she is the author of numerous scientific publications and training contributions, the reviewer in several specialist journals, and a speaker at major international and national conferences. In addition to periodontology, her main focus of activity includes tooth preservation and endodontology.
