Prof. Dr. Berthold took over the management of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Cord buses, the chief physician retires after 17 years of service. Focus of clinical activity of Prof. leg are the areas Kardioanästhesie, acute trauma, large tumor surgery and surgical management. Scientifically he has worked extensively with the optimized patient monitoring, the airway management and organ protection employed by conditioning and published to numerous publications in high-level national and international journals.
