Bernhard R. Ruf MD

Bernhard R. Ruf is a member of the executive board and treasurer of the German Society of Infectious Diseases in 1989 and later on became the President of the German Society for Infectious Diseases from 1997-2001. He worked as Secretary General of the National Congress of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine and became President of the National Congress of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine from 1999 to 2001. He is the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Klinikum St. Georg gGmbH Leipzig Department of Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine and Nephrology, Teaching Hospital at the University of Leipzig.
