Bernardino Alcazar-navarrete MD, PhD, FEA

Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, University of Granada and Specialist in Pneumology (Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital of Granada). He is currently a Pneumology Specialist at the Hospital de Alta Resolución de Loja (Granada).

His clinical research focuses on COPD and bronchial asthma, on the identification of biomarkers of response to inhaled treatment in COPD, as well as patterns of frequent exacerbations and consumption of healthcare resources.

He is the Coordinator of the COPD area of ​​SEPAR (2012-2015) and a member of the editorial board of the Spanish Journal of Thoracic Pathology. As a teacher, he is a collaborating professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Granada.
