Bernard Dallemagne MD

Dr Bernard Dallemagne is recognized worldwide as an outstanding pioneer and surgeon in digestive and endocrine surgery at the University Hospital of Strasbourg and a Researcher in the field of minimally invasive surgery at the IRCAD Institute of Strasbourg. Born in 1955, he studied at the University School of Medicine in Liege (Belgium) where he graduated in Medical Studies with Honors in 1981 and in General Surgery in 1987. Head of the Department of Surgery at the Cliniques Saint-Joseph in Liege Belgium, he accepted to join in 2006, as a member of the Faculty, the Department of Digestive and Endocrine Surgery of the University Hospital of Strasbourg under the leadership of Professor Jacques Marescaux. In 2006, he has also joined the IRCAD (Research Institute Against Digestive Cancer) and the EITS (European Institute for TeleSurgery) as Scientific co-director.
