Bernadka Dubicka BSc, MBBS, FRCPsych, MD

Bernadka Dubicka trained as a child psychiatrist at St George's Hospital, London and in Manchester. Whilst in Manchester she became interested in affective disorder through working with the late Professor Richard Harrington, as a clinical research fellow on the ADAPT study of adolescent depression. Her MD thesis was on the implications of behaviour disorder in this sample for which she was awarded a gold medal in 2009.
Dubicka clinical post is in an adolescent unit, where she have experience in treating complex, high risk adolescent disorders including mania and psychosis. As an advisor for the north west NHS England SCN she is leading on a project to examine optimal pathways for young people who self-harm.
