Dr. Bernadette Cuello joined Memorial Sloan Kettering in 1986, first as a clinical nurse. Upon becoming a nurse practitioner in 1996 she helped to manage inpatients receiving chemotherapy who also had complicated medical problems. She moved to the Orthopedic Surgical Service in 1997, overseeing the daily management of cancer patients before and after surgery, among other responsibilities.
