Berend Van Der Lei MD, PhD

Berend van der Lei (1958) graduated in 1986 as a doctor and cum laude. After his training as a plastic surgeon (trainer Prof. Dr. PH Robinson) he began his career as a general plastic surgeon in the medical center of Leeuwarden in May 1995. From this he has gained extensive experience in plastic and especially aesthetic surgery, often referred to as cosmetic surgery. In February 2007 he was appointed as the first Professor of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in the Netherlands, affiliated to the University Medical Center Groningen.
