Berend Snijder MSc, PhD

Berend is a cell biologist with an extensive background in both computation and statistics of large data, working on the basic principles of cellular behavior and processes surrounding cancer and immunology. He is interested in the application and development of new methods for quantitative cell biology and systems biology, He keeps a keen focus on the biological question. He has an awarded track record in the scientific field, with first- and corresponding-author publications in Nature, Cell, Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods, and Molecular Systems Biology. He was driven by the interdisciplinary team-work that comprises modern biology and computational sciences, to advance our knowledge of cell biology in human health and disease.
