Dr. Blount is currently working as a Assistant Professor and Medical Director at Emory Family Medicine Division and Emory Family Medicine Clinic Dunwoody respectively. He has been board certified in American Board of Family Practice and American Board of Preventive Medicine.
He completed his B.S in Science in the year 1972. Completed Internship and Residency in 1986.
He is recipient of many awards such as 'Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Award for Excellence in Military Medicine' in 1993, '1st Place, Poster Presentation, GAFP' for the years 2004, 2005 and 2006, 'Best Doctors in America' for the years 2000, 2001 and 2002 and 'America’s Top Family Doctors' for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. His personal goal is to make learning family medicine.
