Bennett Penn is an MD/PhD trained physician scientist. He is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine at UC Davis. He sees patients at UC Davis Medical Center, and has a laboratory at UC Davis where he uses genetics and biochemistry to study the pathogenesis of M. tuberculosis. He started his lab in 2017, and is actively looking for motivated graduate students and post-doctoral scholars to join the lab.
