Benjamin Marchant BPharm

Benjamin Marchant is currently the director of pharmacy at Mildura Base Hospital. He is a pharmacist with experience in many areas of practice, including hospital and community pharmacy, and as a consultant pharmacist in both metropolitan and regional areas. Benjamin is an accredited pharmacist immuniser and,. in 2016, was the first Victorian pharmacist to administer a vaccine to a patient.

Benjamin is a member of multiple clinical governance teams at Mildura Base Hospital and is the current chair of both the Medication Safety and Safety and Quality Committees. He is the Victorian president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, representing over 4000 Victorian pharmacists. Benjamin is a member of the expert advisory group to the Victorian DHHS for the SafeScript program.
