Benjamin Malcolm PharmD, MPH

Benjamin Malcolm, PharmD, MPH is a clinical psychiatric pharmacist who is passionate about psychedelic drugs and their potential for psychospiritual well-being, personal development, ceremonial sacraments, and treatment of mental illness. He is the founder of Spirit Pharmacist, which provides psychopharmacology consulting, courses in psychedelic pharmacy, and a member resource and support program.

Dr. Malcolm received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Touro University California, Vallejo CA, and his Master of Public Health from the same institution. He is a certified Psychiatric Pharmacist (BCPP) and a licensed pharmacist in California. He completed his PGY-2 Residency in Psychiatric Pharmacy at the University of California at San Deigo and his PGY-1 Residency in Acute Care at Scripps Mercy Hospital. He has published several peer-reviewed works on topics such as drug interactions between psychiatric medications and MDMA or psilocybin, serotonin toxicity of serotonergic psychedelics, and psilocybin-assisted therapy. He has also been featured in various media outlets and podcasts.
