Benjamin Silverberg, MD, MSc, FAAFP, is a Family Medicine physician at WVU Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He earned a double BA in Chemistry (with honors) and Dramatic Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2002) and then completed an MS in Biochemistry (with specialization in Biotechnology) from Georgetown University (2004) and, later, an MSc in Global Health from Duke University (2014). He attended the University of Connecticut for his MD (2009) and the University of Virginia for his residency training in Family Medicine (2012).

He also worked at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center for his fellowship in Community Medicine (2016). He joined the medical faculty at West Virginia University as an Assistant Professor in 2016, where he holds a dual appointment in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine, and works in Student Health, Travel Medicine, and Urgent Care. In 2018, he also took on the role of Medical Director for the new Physician Assistant training program at WVU.
