Ben Taylor, PhD, PA-C is a graduate of the Army’s Physician Associate Program through the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Emergency Medicine from the University of Nebraska and a Doctorate in Health Sciences from Walden University. He is a past president of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA) and the Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants (AFPPA). He is clinical faculty for the physician assistant program at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia and works in the Aiken Regional Medical Center Emergency Department in Aiken, South Carolina and Doctors Care of Aiken, South Carolina. Ben has presented a multitude of cardiometabolic and emergency medicine lectures nationally at professional societies and lectures regularly at all of the physician assistant programs in Georgia. He sits on the board of directors of several Physician Assistant Organizations and has authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a staunch advocate for his profession.
