Beiyun Chen, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, specializing in breast pathology, gynecologic pathology, and surgical pathology. Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast diseases, breast cancer pathology, gynecologic tumors, and complex surgical pathology cases. Dr. Chen earned her medical degree and Ph.D. before completing advanced residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, followed by fellowship training in Surgical Pathology and Breast/Gynecologic Pathology. She currently serves as an Associate Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic, where she combines clinical practice with teaching and translational research.
