Becky Vaughn MSEd, CEO

Becky Vaughn has been working in the field of substance abuse for over 25 years. She was a member of the founding board of The Georgia Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse (known as GAPTSA) in 1992 and became their first Executive Director in 1994.

Her responsibilities included providing education through training and advocacy at the local, state, and national level to ensure that all Georgians get appropriate and timely services. In July of 2000 GAPTSA merged with Mission New Hope, a substance abuse coalition for metro Atlanta creating The Georgia Council on Substance Abuse where she served as President and CEO until 2007.
