Dr. Miller serves as a Health Specialist in the Office of Strategic Coordination in the Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the Director. Dr. Miller received her B.S. in Zoology and M.S. in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University studying population genetics and biogeography. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in Biological Sciences studying the genomics of malarial parasites and was awarded an NSF IGERT fellowship. Dr. Miller conducted postdoctoral research at the NIH in the Laboratory of Malaria and Vector Research in NIAID.
