Becky Fox MSN, RN-BC

Becky has worked in the field of informatics for more than 19 years and currently serves as the CNIO for Atrium Health, where she is passionate about setting strategy and vision for leveraging technology to improve both clinical and patient care experiences. In her time at Atrium, Becky has worked successfully with teams to collaborate in focus areas such as optimizing the EMR; implementing new technologies for clinical staff (e.g. VitalsLink, Doc Halo, CareFusion IV pumps, Long-Term Care, etc.), and most importantly, improve the daily entire workflow of clinicians and improve patient outcomes across the care continuum.

Prior to working at Atrium, Becky worked for 13+ years as a healthcare executive and solutions strategist for Cerner Corporation. While at Cerner, she worked with the US and international clients in pre-sales planning, consulting, and in transforming health care delivery around the world. Having been a nurse for more than 25 years, with experience in Med-Surg, Critical Care, ED, and post-acute areas, Becky understands the challenges that clinicians face every day. She's thrilled to be a part of the HIMSS community and looks forward to the opportunity to dialogue with other colleagues about improving business acumen skills amongst our clinical and informatics leaders.
