Beatriz Korc-Grodzicki MD, PhD is the Chief of the Geriatrics Service, Division of Subspecialty Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weil Cornell Medical College in New York, NY. She obtained her medical degree from the University of the Republic, Uruguay and her PhD in Chemical Immunology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Dr. Korc-Grodzicki then completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY. Over the last ten years she has been dedicated to the care of the older patient with a cancer diagnosis and has been involved in the teaching of geriatric principles to multiple health care providers, students, house staff and the community. Dr. Korc-Grodzicki is the author of several papers related to geriatric syndromes and principles that have been published in national and international journals.
