Bas Mochtar

Since 2000 Bas Mochtar has been a Professor in Cardiothoracic surgery at the University Hospital Maastricht. Previous to this he was a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Erasmus Medical Centre, Rotterdam, 1981-1998. Professor Mochtar's special interests are in aortic surgery and complec redo-cardiac surgery, as well as coaching/training residents and fellows.
