Dr. Ihnatsenka began his career in anesthesia and critical care in 1995 when he graduated from Grodno State Medical Institute in Gorkogo, Belarus. In 2001, he moved to the US in Winter Park, FL where he was an Educational Training Specialist and CPR instructor for autistic children and adults at The Threshold Incorporated. In 2005, he started his residency training at the University of Florida, where he also completed his fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine. Since graduation, he has been on faculty at the University of Florida. Dr. Ihnatsenka has been given many teaching awards and has been invited to lecture internationally and nationally. His interest includes: education, simulation, and regional anesthesia.
