Bartalena Luigi MD

Luigi Bartalena is Professor of Endocrinology and Director of Post-Graduate School of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. He is also Head of endocrine unit at Ospedale di Circolo, Varese, Italy. Dr. Luigi Bartalena received his medical degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Pisa Medical School and a postgraduate degree in endocrinology (magna cum laude) from the University of Pisa Postgraduate School of Endocrinology. He has received a specialty certification in endocrinology from the University of Pisa in 1978. Luigi Bartalena has been a visiting fellow, visiting associate, and guest worker of the Clinical Endocrinology Branch (CEB), at the National Institute of Arthritis, Diabetes, and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIADDK), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, USA. He has also been a visiting scientist of the Genetics and Biochemistry Branch at NIDDK, NIH, Bethesda, USA.
