Dr. Barry DiBernardo is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and an Associate Clinical Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, while also serving on the Advisory Board of many leading skincare and injectable, and technology companies worldwide. Having completed his education at Cornell University Medical College, where he won the school's Charles H. Horn Prize for outstanding leadership and service, Dr. DiBernardo is dedicated to quality, thorough education for future generations of surgeons.
Dr. DiBernardo spent five years as a general surgeon at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach before his two-year residency in plastic surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. In 1991, the same year he began his work in private practice, Dr. Bernardo received the Leo M. Davidoff Award for teaching distinction at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Today, Dr. DiBernardo remains one of the leading surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and is a Certified International Instructor for multiple laser, light-based, and skincare modalities in the field.
