Baroness Ilora Finlay

Baroness Ilora Finlay is a Professor of Palliative Medicine at Cardiff University; Consultant at Velindre Cancer Centre; and Independent Crossbench member of the House of Lords. She is the National Vice President of Marie Curie Cancer Care and Chair of the National Council for Palliative Care. Baroness Finlay was the first consultant in Palliative Medicine in Wales and she not only developed hospice and palliative care services across Wales but also led in the establishment of the highly regarded palliative care course at Cardiff University.
