Dr. Baris Ata received his medical degree from the Istanbul School of Medicine in 1998. He also completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Istanbul, in 2003. He served a yearlong conscription as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Sirnak Military Hospital in southeastern Turkey. He has been awarded commendations three times during his service.
Dr. Ata has received advanced training on laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery in the U.S.A., and on ultrasonographic diagnosis at the Istanbul School of Medicine and the King's College in London, U.K. He has a certificate of competence awarded by the Fetal Medicine Foundation, U.K.
