Dr. Barbara Tardiff is the Worldwide Head of Clinical Informatics and Innovation at Pfizer. She collaborates with research and business units across Pfizer, to improve capabilities and effective use of data, information, and knowledge management to guide the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials and support other research and development activities. Dr. Tardiff has a unique combination of expertise and experience in biomedical and information sciences and is a skilled executive leader with experience leading major organization transformations. Over the course of her career, she has participated in a broad range of scientific and operational activities related to medical product development including protocol design, project leadership and administration, data management, information systems, and interpretation and presentation of study findings.

She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Oregon State University, M.D. and M.S., M. Phil. in Molecular Genetics from Yale University, an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Duke University, and studied Applied Information Management at the University of Oregon. She is board certified in Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and Pediatrics
