Barbara Sarnoff Lee MSSW, LICSW

Barbara Sarnoff Lee, MSSW, LICSW, is Senior Director of Social Work and Patient and Family Engagement at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Tasked with the strategic planning and operational development of patient and family engagement activities, she is responsible for the creation and facilitation of patient and family advisory councils, the placement of advisors on Medical Center committees, and the development and facilitation of topic-specific staff-advisor focus groups.
Ms. Sarnoff Lee has served as Adjunct Faculty at Harvard Medical School, Simmons School of Social Work, and BU School of Social Work. She received her undergraduate education at Union College and earned an MSSW from Columbia University School of Social Work.
