Barbara Braden MD, FRCP FEBG

Professor Braden (Vordiplom Chemistry, MD, Habilitation, FEBG) has trained at the University Hospital in Frankfurt /Main in Germany where she worked as clinical lead of the endoscopy unit and the ultrasound unit. She lectures as a professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Frankfurt.

She developed 13C-breath tests using stable isotope techniques for testing various gastrointestinal functions such as gastric emptying, exocrine pancreatic function, liver function, and Helicobacter pylori infection.
