Barbara Bosch MD

Barbara received her MD degree summa cum laude from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium in 2014. After starting her residency in pediatrics, she came to New York where she worked as a visiting student in the laboratory of Dr. Jean-Laurent Casanova at Rockefeller University studying the human genetics of asplenia and pyogenic infections. She also completed a clinical observership in pediatric bone marrow transplantation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She entered the Rockefeller Ph.D. program in 2017 and joined the Rock Lab for her thesis research, which seeks to detect vulnerable targets of Mycobacterium tuberculosis that could be prioritized in drug development and therapy. In her free time, Barbara likes traveling, reading, playing the piano, and catamaran sailing. Barbara is a Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds fellow.
