Undertaking the role as Planning and Marketing Director of City International Hospital (CIH), Bao is in charge of developing Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships, Medical Centres of Excellence for CIH as well as leading and managing the activities of Corporate Development. With 15+ years of experience working in Healthcare Industry and 10+ years of experience specializing in Vietnam’s Healthcare, Bao has built a solid foundation and the ability to generate a sustainable value system across various healthcare models in Vietnam. Prior to joining CIH, Bao was a senior member of FV Hospital’s Project Team – Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His role was to develop 5 year strategic plan for FV expansion to the hub-spoke model. His achievement was to develop the strategic partnership between FV Holding and Quadria Capital – a leading healthcare-oriented fund in Asia Pacific. Earlier, he served as a member in Board of Directors (BoD) of TMMC Healthcare, currently known as Tam Tri group – an emerging hospital chain in the South of Vietnam. One of his achievements was the success in developing and implementing a several of Medical Centres of Excellence for the Subsidiary Hospitals, and finalizing the funding project of Sojitz Corporation – a Japanese trading house to develop the full-fledged Cancer Centre. Bao is a frequent guest speaker for various International Healthcare Management Conferences in the region. His interested topics are: Healthcare Landscape of Vietnam, The Development of Centres of Excellence, Healthcare Business Models, and the Investment in Healthcare and Medical Tourism in Vietnam. Bao holds the Master Degree of Science, major in Business Analysis and Decision Making (2005) of Swinburne University of Technology and Master of Business Administration (2008) of Southern Cross University from Australia.
