Bahram Bodaghi has many diplomas: American equivalence (FMGEMS, Foreign Medical Graduate Examination in the Medical Sciences) in 1991; Preparatory University Diploma for Human Biology Studies (DUPEBH), University PARIS V (Options: physics, chemistry, and statistics) in 1992. Master's degree in Biological and Medical Sciences between 1987 and 1993. Master's degree in Science, University Denis Diderot, Paris VII in 1992 -1993. Diploma in Statistics Applied to Medicine, Clinical Research Option (CESAM Pierre and Marie Curie University) in 1994-1995. DEA in Microbiology, University of Paris VII Option Fundamental Virology, (Mention Bien) in 1994-1995. Doctoral thesis in Sciences / Microbiology (Option: Fundamental Virology) at the University of Paris VII, Denis Diderot (Very honorable mention with written congratulations from the jury) in 1995-1998. Diploma of Specialized Studies in Ophthalmology in 1996. State Diploma of Doctor of Medicine in 1998, and Habilitation to supervise research (University of Paris VI) in 2000. Professor Bodaghi is in charge of a research team in ocular immunology (CNRS UMR 7087 unit directed by Prof. D. Klatzmann) since November 2000. University professor since 2003, and hospital practitioner in the service of Prof. Le Hoang, he was elected member of the office of the College of University Ophthalmologists of France in 2006, then Chairman of the Ophthalmology Appeal Qualification Commission with the National Council of the Order of Physicians in 2008. In 2011, he was Head of the scientific program of the International Ocular Inflammation Society.
