Bahadir completed his medical education at İstanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (1985-1991). Dr. Dr. Gulluoglu's post-graduation surgical specialty training was in Marmara University Faculty of Medicine General Surgery Department between 1991-1996. After becoming an expert, he became a faculty member in 1997 by assigning the same faculty to the Assistant Professor of General Surgery.
In 1998, he was one of the founding members of the Breast and Endocrine Surgery Unit, which was established in Marmara University Medical School General Surgery Department. In 2000, he served as an assistant professor at the University of Bergen, Norway, and at the Haukeland University Hospital Breast and Endocrine Surgery Unit. During his tenure there, he worked as a monitor and period reporter for the Norwegian National Breast Cancer Screening Program. He was one of the founders of the Breast Center which was in service in Marmara University Hospital in 2001.
In 2003, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor. Gulluoglu, Turkish Society of Surgery, International Society of Surgery (ISS-SIC), Breast Surgery International (BSI), International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES), European Society of Endocrine Surgeons (Association of European Endocrine Surgeons, ESES) is a member of the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (European Association of Breast Cancer Experts, EUSOMA). He is a member of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer-Breast Cancer Group (EORTC-BCG) and serves as a "manager researcher" in multi-centered studies.
Dr. In 2006, Gulluoglu was trained in "Risk Analysis and Genetic Counseling" for familial breast cancer in the Department of Human Genetics at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, and "Interventional Breast Biopsies in Radiological Imaging Coexistence" in the Department of Surgical Oncology. He was also involved in "Familial Breast Cancer Genetic Counseling" at the Medical Genetics and Molecular Medicine Center, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Bergen University, Norway in 2008. Dr. From 2009 to 2012, Gulluoglu was the founding co-chair of the Turkish-Bulgarian Endocrine and Breast Surgery Club and the founding chief co-director of the Turkish Endocrine Surgery Working Group.
He was elected to the American College of Surgeons (ACS) academy in 2006. In 2009, Gulluoglu was appointed professor of Marmara University Faculty of Medicine General Surgery Department. He has previously served as a member of Marmara University Medical Faculty Board of Directors (2003-2006), Postgraduate Education Board (2000-2009), Assistant Chief Coordinator (2007-2009) and Chief Coordinator (2010-2012). Gulluoglu is also a faculty member (2010-present) at the Department of Surgical Sciences of the European Academy of Senology (EAoS), as well as at the university.
