Babak Tousi MD, FACP

Dr. Babak Tousi is a board-certified geriatrician with dual fellowship training in geriatrics and movement disorders. His clinical and research work focuses on the cognitive, behavioral, and motor aspects of Dementia with Lewy bodies, Alzheimer’s Dementia, and mild cognitive impairment. He is currently the Head of Clinical Trials Program of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. He is an associate professor of medicine at the Cleveland Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. 

He has been the principal investigator for numerous clinical trials for Lewy body dementia, Alzheimer’s dementia, and Parkinson’s disease. Recently, as a senior editor, he published a clinical handbook of Neuro-Geriatric,s which helps physicians to approach these neurodegenerative diseases following a carepath.
