Azzdine Ammi PhD

Azzdine Y. Ammi, PhD, is a Clinical Product Expert at Profound Medical Inc. He received his Doctor of Philosophy from Pierre and Marie Curie University. He is interested in ultrasound contrast agent microbubbles dynamics and bioeffects in cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

He worked on a collaborative effort involving OHSU (Knight Cancer Institute and Knight Cardiovascular Institute) and GE to use novel ultrasound contrast agent microbubbles to deliver pain medication to tumor sites that are not accessible by conventional therapies.

His research interests are Radiology, Medical Ultrasound, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Cardiac Imaging.
