Aurore Cote MD

Dr. Aurore Cote is a pediatric respirologist specializing in Respiratory Medicine and Pulmonology at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She serves as a Member of the Respiratory Medicine Division, Director of the Pediatric Network, and Director of the Apnea and Infant Respiratory Clinic. Dr. Cote earned her medical degree from Laval University and completed her pediatric residency at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de l’Université Laval and Hôpital Ste-Justine. She subsequently completed clinical training at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and a research fellowship at Columbia University in New York City.

Her clinical and research interests include sudden unexpected deaths in infancy, obstructive sleep apnea in children, home ventilation for children, and the organization of health services. She has contributed to research and clinical guidelines concerning home monitoring and outpatient care for home-ventilated children, as well as pediatric respiratory and neonatal care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Cote has received several honors, including the Faculty Honour List for Educational Excellence, Leadership Award of Excellence, Director General’s Award, and Best Care for Life Award. She has also served as a board member of the Public Health Agency of Canada and the American Association of Pediatric Sleep Specialists. Driven by a commitment to children and their families, Dr. Cote combines clinical expertise, research, education, and leadership to advance the care of children with respiratory and sleep-related disorders.
