Aurelius Omlin MD

Dr. Aurelius Omlin is a Medical Oncologist at Kantonsspital St. Gallen in Switzerland who focuses on genitourinary cancer and early-phase clinical trials. Dr. Omlin performed his specialist training in Medical Oncology at the University Hospital of Berne, the regional hospital in Thun, and the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen in Switzerland. From 2010 – 2013 he was a clinical research fellow at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in London under Prof Johann de Bono focusing on early clinical trials, especially for men with advanced prostate cancer. After his return to Switzerland, Dr. Omlin together with Prof Silke Gillessen initiated the Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference, which was first held in March 2015 and then again in 2017 and 2019.
