Atip Lawanprasert PhD

Atip Lawanprasert is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Atip received his BS in Biomedical Engineering with honors from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2017. Atip has previously worked on blood coagulation on material surfaces and cellular toxicity of nanoparticle formulations in Dr. Erwin Vogler’s lab. In Thailand, he worked at the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) NANOTEC center. There, he investigated the impact of silver nanoparticles and their derivatives on human white blood cells. Following his graduation from undergraduate studies, Atip traveled to Japan’s Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, where he worked on machine learning based studies on predicting recovery after spinal cord injury in a macaque monkey model.
