Atanase Craciun MD

Dr. Atanase Craciun is a board-certified neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic, specializing in general neurology and sleep medicine. With decades of clinical experience, he provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, headaches, neuropathy, and sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and narcolepsy.

Dr. Craciun completed his medical education at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, followed by internship training in Romania and the United States. He pursued neurology residencies at Henry Ford Hospital and the Cleveland Clinic, and later completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at Akron General Medical Center.

He is board-certified in both neurology and sleep medicine and has held leadership roles, including serving as Director of the Stroke Center at Marymount Hospital. His clinical work includes advanced diagnostic procedures such as electromyography and sleep studies, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment of complex neurological conditions.
