Ashwin Venkateshvaran PhD, RCS, RDCS

Dr. Ashwin Venkateshvaran is a scientist at Karolinska Institutet and a cardiac imaging specialist at the Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm. He received his Ph.D. in Medicine (Medicine doctor examen) in 2016 from the Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan (KTH), Stockholm. His current research explores novel applications of cardiac imaging in the setting of heart disease and pulmonary hypertension. Dr. Venkateshvaran is well-published and is a recognized international educator in cardiac ultrasound. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) and the European Society of Cardiology (FESC).
