Dr. Ashish Khanna is a staff intensivist with the Surgical ICU at the Cleveland Clinic and an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio . He is also the current chair of the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (SCCM) In-Training Section.
In addition he sits on the Educational Track Subcommittee for Critical Care and the committee on residents and medical students with the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). He holds a joint appointment as a staff with the Department of Outcomes Research within the Anesthesiology Institute at the Cleveland Clinic. His current research interests include 1. predicting post-operative hypoxemia & respiratory depression in the post-operative period and 2. newer vasopressors for high-output shock.
