Ashish Bhalla MD

Dr. Ashish Bhalla, Professor of Internal medicine at PGIMER, Chandigarh has been elected as PRESIDENT of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Toxicology (APAMT) at the recently concluded Annual meeting in Singapore. This Association is responsible for developing Clinical Toxicology as a specialty in the Asia Pacific region. He is the first Indian elected to the post. Prof Ashish Bhalla completed his Fellowship in Clinical Toxicology from Guys and Thomas Hospital, London, the UK in 2014-15 and has been serving as a Board member of APAMT for the last 4 years. He also served as Secretary-General of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Toxicology (APAMT) for 2 years, from 2012-to 2014.
