Ashanul Haque PhD

Dr. Haque obtained his early education in Bihar, a bachelor’s degree from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and a master’s degree from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi. He completed his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at the Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, in 2014. He then pursued a post-doctoral fellowship with Prof. Muhammad Khan at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, where he worked on the design and development of organic and organometallic polymers for optoelectronic applications. In 2018, Dr. Haque joined the University of Hail, Saudi Arabia, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Chemistry. His honors include the Best Research Group Award, Rector commendation for the publication in high impact journal, the Best Research Paper Award, The National Research Award, and Senior Research Fellowship (Organic chemistry). Dr. Haque’s lab is focused on developing functional compounds/materials that are useful in daily life and solving environmental and energy problems.
