Asha M. Anandaiah MD

Dr. Asha Anandaiah is a Director of Pulmonary Consultation Service at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Anandaiah’s current academic interest lies in optimizing how we teach communication and collaboration in the intensive care unit. Specific areas of interest include the approach to code status and consent conversations for critically ill patients, interdisciplinary teaching in the ICU, and mechanisms of feedback for pulmonary and critical care fellows.
